Thank you for visiting the web portal of Rockdale Career Academy, the area’s premiere career and workforce development educational facility. Following more than four years of intensive, community-based planning, RCA opened its doors to students July 31, 2006, to approximately 1250 students making it one of the largest Career and Technical Education centers in the state. Students at RCA are provided the opportunity to earn a concentration in one of 18 different technical majors as part of their high school course of study. Internship, apprenticeship, and industry credentialing experiences further enhance the real world relevance and applicability of what is learned. Through partnerships with Georgia Piedmont Technical College (formerly DeKalb Tech) and Georgia Perimeter College, students may earn college credits while pursuing a program of study at RCA. Our mission is clear and straight forward. RCA will provide superior, world-class educational opportunities to all our students so that each graduate exits a program of study with the requisite knowledge, skills, and dispositions to succeed in the post-secondary path of their choosing.
